All-Commers Tip Off Camp

  • Who: Everybody is welcome to come out!
  • What: Start the season off with modified games and skills!
  • Where: Douglas College (700 Royal Ave, New Westminster)
  • When: Sat, Sep 16th | 10:00am - 3:00pm
  • Extras: Registration is required - link.

BTG Game Nights

  • Who: Beginners or new people wanting to try out wheelchair basketball.
  • What: Basic skills, drills, and games!
  • Where: Richmond Olympic Oval (6111 River Rd, Richmond)
  • When: 4 Mondays (Sep 18th, Oct 23rd, Nov 20th, Dec 4th) | 6:30pm - 8:30pm
  • Extras: Registration is required - previous participant link OR new participant link.

GF Strong Nights

  • Who: Community members and in-patients of GF Strong.
  • What: Come out and learn the very basics!
  • Where: GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre (4255 Laurel St, Vancouver)
  • When: 7 Thursdays (Sep 21st and 28th, Oct 19th and 26th, Nov 23rd and 30th, Dec 14th) | 6:00pm - 8:00pm
  • Extras: No cost, waiver form filled out on-site, membership not required.

BC Breakers Fall Training Camp & Women's Festival

  • Who: All females!
  • What: Training camp for females athletes as well as a Have A Go and Let's Play
  • Where: University of the Fraser Valley (33844 King Rd, Abbotsford)
  • When: Sat, Sep 23rd | 9:00am - 4:00pm and Sun, Sep 24th | 9:00am - 3:00pm
  • Extras: Registration is required - Training camp link, Have A Go link, Let's Play link.

BC-CWBL October Tournament

  • Who: Spectators are welcome to come watch!
  • What: League tournament to kick off the season!
  • Where: Tournament Capital Centre (910 McGill Rd, Kamloops)
  • When: Sat, Oct 14th to Sun, Oct 15th | Results HERE.
  • Extras: Teams have been emailed information as well as registration links.

BRIDGING the Gap 2.0

  • Who: New and seasoned players looking for skills development and playing time in the Lower Mainland
  • What: Pilot Program for those that are new to the game, enjoy playing, looking for skill development and a help develop the sport of wheelchairbasketball
  • Where: Brittania Community Centre, 1661 Napier Street, Vancouver
  • When: Friday's - October 27, November 3, November 10, November 17 (cancelled), November 24, December 01
  • Extras: 630-830 pm.  Pre-Registration Required: LINK

Western Conference BC Tournament

  • Who: Teams from across western Canada and the pacific northwest in the United States! Spectators are welcome to come watch!
  • What: Organized tournament to have higher echelon teams compete at scheduled tournaments.
  • Where: Richmond Olympic Oval (6111 River Rd, Richmond)
  • When: Sat, Nov 4th to Sun, Nov 5th | Results HERE.

BC-CWBL November Tournament + Annual General Meeting

  • Who: Spectators are welcome to come watch!
  • What: 2nd league tournament!
  • Where: Trinity Western University (7600 Glover Rd, Langley)
  • When: Sat, Nov 11th to Sun, Nov 12th | Results HERE.
  • Extras: Teams have been emailed information as well as registration links. AGM to take place on Saturday (info HERE).

Junior Challenge Festival 

  • Who: Anyone under 21 is welcome to come out!
  • What: Time for athletes to come out and see how they measure up against their peers.
  • Where: Trinity Western University (7600 Glover Rd, Langley)
  • When: Sat, Nov 25th to Sun, Nov 26th | Schedule TBD
