The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) is a non-profit organization formed in 1983 and registered with Revenue Canada as a charity since 1985. BCWBS provides support to wheelchair basketball programs throughout British Columbia.
5th Annual Kelowna Jam Offered Another Fun Filled Weekend
May 16, 2013 The 5th Annual Wheelchair basketball Jam in Kelowna was a big success again. Participants came from Seattle, Spokane, Calgary, Vancouver, Chilliwack, Kamloops, Vernon and Kelowna. Every participant was schedule to play every game, rotating through different team members. Some of the junior members learned veteran tricks from the likes of Richard Peters, Bryan Shore and Marni Abbott-Peter. A lunchtime BBQ was enjoyed outside the school in the warm Okanagan sun.
