BC Wheelchair Basketball is hosting the 2022 Women's National Championship Festival April 8-10
Come out and Cheer all the teams on at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
The weekend will feature a 5 on 5 National Championship, a 3 on 3 recreational tournament and a ‘ Have a go at wheelchair basketball’ session.
In 5 on 5 National Championship, Paralympians Kady Dandeneau and Tara Llanes and the rest of team BC will welcome the defending champions in team Quebec and a team featuring the top female athletes from Ontario, New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.
The 3 on 3 recreational competitions sees women from other provinces as well as BC come together in this fun round robin event for the first time in the Women’s National tournament history!
