BCWBS recognizes the work that the individual clubs do and the costs associated with establishing and maintaining grass roots wheelchair basketball programs in BC. As a result we dedicate funds each year to directly benefit activities offered by BCWBS clubs.
This grant opportunity is open for all BCWBS clubs that are members for the 2018-19 season and have completed and paid their membership.
The Fund can be used to help your club to:
- run regular club practices,
- host a tournament or event, and/or* Have a go /Lets Play date (details below)
- attend a BCWBS program/league as a team/club
- support costs for coaches to attend courses
Your funding must directly benefit the club members actively involved in the sport of wheelchair basketball.
Only one application per club will be accepted in a funding cycle (1 year). Applications will be reviewed and funds allocated by the BCWBS Program Committee.
