BC Games 2014 & Canada Games 2015 for BC Junior Athletes

If you are a wheelchair basketball athlete born on January 1, 1991 or after, there are two great sport events coming up for you in next few years. Learn about these games and you could be one of the atheltes on a team that will be playing in these games!!

BC Winter Games 2014 in Mission

BCWBS is excited to announce that we will be competing in the BC Winter Games in 2015 that will be held in Mission. BC Summer and Winter games are two of the largest multi-sport Games in BC and in Canada. 7 players will be selected from each zone and they will be competing against other teams from different zones. Athletes between 13-23 years of age in 2014 are eligible to try out for their respective teams.

Canada Winter Games 2015 in Prince George

Held every two years, alternating between summer and winter, the Canada Games are a key event in the development of Canada's young athletes. Canada Games athletes are Canada's next generation national, international and Paralympic champions. Prince George and Northern BC will be the host for this big event in 2015. Athletes born on January 1, 1991 or after will be eligible and 12 athletes will be seleceted for BC in wheelchair basketball. The team will be competing against other junior provincial teams from across Canada.
