(Vancouver, BC) – BC Wheelchair Sports Association (BCWSA) and BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) congratulate the 12 athletes from our organizations named to the Toronto 2015 Parapan Am Games team. The athletes will be competing in athletics, wheelchair tennis, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby.
“We’ve had the privilege of working with many of these athletes since the very beginning of their careers and we’re so proud to see them achieving recognition on an international stage,” said BCWSA Executive Director Gail Hamamoto.
“We’re so proud of these athletes and will be cheering them on as they go for gold on home soil,” said BCWBS Executive Director Sian Blyth.
