Fomer national team and provincial team athletes Marni Abbott-Peter and Richard Peter were inducted into the Basketball BC Hall of Fame last Saturday (May 6) at the River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond. Their incredible achivements through their athlete career were recognized by the Basketball BC community along with eight other inductees.
Former provincial team athlete and coach Trish Nicoloson was also recognized during the ceremony. She won the Mary Campbell Award Women in Basketball for her dedication in coaching at McRoberts Secondary School (Richmond) and her acocomplishments with Canadian Nationals Women's Wheelchair Basketball team as an assistant coach.
Congratulations to Marni, Richard, and Trish on this well-deserved honour!
