Participants Have a Blast at The 2014 All Comers Wheelchair Basketball Festival

September 15, 2014

The 2014 wheelchair basketball season started on a strong note this weekend at the 2014 All Comers Wheelchair Basketball Festival. The festival, which is a joint initiative of BC Wheelchair Basketball and the Bridging the Gap program, welcomed participants of all ages, disabilities and experience levels for a full day of wheelchair basketball fun.

Participants enjoyed games, scrimmages, and skill development with trained coaches. Lunch was provided and there were plenty of social opportunities for new athletes to meet more established ones. Thank you to all of the athletes, coaches, volunteers and support staff who made the event a success. A special thank you to photographer Gerry Kripps who took some great shots of the festival, which you can see by clicking here.
