In preparation for their new wheelchair basketball program, Port Moody will be hosting a wheelchair basketball Have a Go Day. If you've always wanted to try wheelchair basketball, or if you have played the sport before and want to give it another shot, here's your chance! The event is completely free and wheelchairs will be provided for those who need them.
Wheelchair basketball is an excellent sport for a wide range of disabilities, including spinal cord injuries, spina bifida, cerebral palsy, amputation, and even knee/hip/leg injuries. As long as you can use a manual wheelchair, there's a place for you in wheelchair basketball. Since wheelchair basketball is an integrated sport, able-bodied players are also welcome.
Bring your family and friends and get ready for a night of fun!

Time: 5 pm - 7:30 pm
