Have you ever wanted to get certified as a wheelchair basketball community? Whether you're a player who wants a new skillset or you're new to the wheelchair basketball community, you'll learn the basics of coaching wheelchair basketball, including: making ethical decisions, planning a practice and setting your athletes up for success.
The clinic will take place at the Cloverdale Recreation Centre (6188 176th Street, Surrey, BC) on
- Dec. 11th from 6 - 8 pm
- Dec. 12th from 8 am - 8 pm and
- Dec 13th from 8 am to 3 pm.
Each coach candidate is responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses. However BCWBS members may also be eligible for registration/travel subsidy support up to $250. ****There are pre-course assignments and readings that must be completed prior to the start of the course. Please confirm your registration by Nov 30th in order to receive the pre-task documents in time.
