Team BC finishes with 3-3 record at 2018 Junior Nationals

March 19, 2018

Team BC finished with 3-3 record in an action packed weekend in Longeuil, Quebec.

Starting off the Junior National Championships with 2 losses (against Team Alberta and Team Saskatchewan), Team BC rebounded with wins against Nova Scotia, Manitoba and New Brunswick.  The final standings have Team BC in 5th place.

"Today (Sunday), we had our best game of the tournament", stated Coach Simon Cass. "We executed our game plan very well and we are glad to end our season with this win under our belt".

Many of the players will head back to their regional club teams to continue playing and working on their skills and development.  For players like Ryleigh Bissenden and Lannette Boland, they will join the BC Breakers Women's team for the upcoming CWBL Women's National Championship tournament at the Richmond Oval, April 6-8, 2018.  We hope to see many of our friends and fans that weekend.
