Vernon Wheelchair Basketball Pilot Program Starts on November 13

With the sport wheelchairs donated through the Honda Mobility Dream Contest won by Okanagan Thunder member Art Kelz, a 4-week pilot program will be starting up in Vernon next Tuesday on November 13. Our thanks again to the Rick Hansen Foundation and Honda Canada for your support of wheelchair basketball development in the Okanagan.

Wheelchair Basketball in Vernon
Tuesdays. November 13, 20, 27 & December 4
6:30pm-8:00pm @ Ellison Elementary School, 2400 Fulton Rd
$5 drop in fee

Everyone aged 14 & up is welcome! No experience is necessary. Wheelchair Basketball is for people at various levels of ability including spinal cord injury, CP, spina bifida, amputees, limited mobility due to knee/hip injury, able-bodied, etc.
