Art Kelz of Kelowna Wins the Honda Mobility Dream Contest

October 15, 2012

From Honda Media Advisory:

BC Wheelchair Basketball and its volunteer, Art Kelz, have won $20,000 to make a “mobility dream” come true in the Honda Mobility Dream contest. Kelz coordinates several wheelchair basketball teams in the Okanagan Valley and his dream of creating a team in Vernon and Penticton is being realized with the donation of ten adult-sized basketball wheelchairs from Honda Canada and two additional chairs from Creative Mobility Products Inc. and wheelchair manufacturer, Invacare Canada.

As the Official Vehicle Supplier of the Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay, Honda provided a fleet of vehicles to transport relay participants and staff across the country in addition to running the Mobility Dream contest.
