This past weekend (February 4 & 5), Kamloops Bull-dawgs hosted a BC-CWBL Division 2 tournament at the Tournamnet Capital Centre in Kamloops.
The tournament saw 3 visiting teams of the Okanagan Thunder, Langley Gold Rush and the Vancouver "Vintage" Cable Cars. All teams shown great effort and team play during this round-robin event. In between games, BCWBS offered a small clinic for athletes in attendance, lead by new Regional Wheelchair Basketball Coach Matt Buchi.
In one of the last games of the tournament, the Cable Cars and Bull-Dawgs had a dog-fight throughout the entire game. Leading the Bull-dawgs to their victory 57-50 was Jack Kosterman with 14 points and both Erik Vliegenthart and Rob Lamb with 12 each.
