Division 2 Kelowna Tournament Report

February 12, 2013

The last regular season Division 2 tournament was held in Kelowna on January 26 & 27. The weekend was a very competitive weekend for Tacoma, Kamloops and the Cable Cars with Kamloops struggling on day one but dominating on day two!

The Cable Cars pulled off a great win against Kamloops on the first day under the coaching of Joe. Kelowna was the most gracious host allowing the visiting teams a win in every game!

Here are the scores:
Saturday
Okanagan 40 – Tacoma 60
Kamloops 58 – Cable Cars 60
Okanagan 27 – Cable Cars 51
Tacoma 60 – Kamloops 56

Sunday
Tacoma 51 – Cable Cars 53
Tacoma 83 – Okanagan 35
Kamloops 77 – Cable Cars 62
Kamloops 48 – Okanagan 33

Seven 3 on 3 games are also played on the second court through the weekend and a few of the Gold Rush players travelled and mix of players from all four teams attended enjoyed some fast-paced games.

Big thanks to Okanagan Thunder for hosting another great tournament!
