BC-CWBL Division I teams play against each other as well as agaist a team from Calgary this weekend at Trinity Western University in Langley. Each team will play four games over the weekend (6 games overall).
Douglas College Lions is leading the season against Royals so far. However the season goes into the second phase with Royals adding two new players, Shelley Chaplin and Erik Hagreen, which would for sure make the competitions even more heated.
Two Jamboree style exhibition games will be held for Trinity Western students during the tournament. Also on Saturday, Feb 5, some of BCWBS members including Division I, II, Trintity Intramural pragram, and Canada Games team players are doing a half-time demo at Trinity Western University basketball games (5pm & 7pm games of the stand-up basketball teams) at Langley Event Centre.
