Last Tuesday at Douglas College (Sept 28), Wayne Corlett and Kevin Gordon from the Rotary Club of New Westminster joined us at the Tim Frick City League to present their donation of $1000.00 to support the league this season.
Wayne and Kevin greeted our participants and stayed to watch the game to get the full city league experience. They appreciated the purpose of the league in introducing new and developing players to the sport and being physically active and expressed their interest to support sport in the community. BCWBS will have a chance to talk to the Rotary club's members about our programs and continue to raise the awareness of our sport to the community.
