The shooting camp was attended by a variety of athletes, with the morning session focused on the up-and-coming players of the future, and the afternoon attended by athletes who are already competing at the provincial level. Athletes received detailed shooting analysis by some highly skilled coaches with elite able-bodied experience. Curtis Nelson, Douglas College’s women’s basketball coach, and Milan Azanjac a former professional player in Europe joined BCWBS coaches in shooting fundamentals, shooting drills, and analysis of each individual player. This camp kicked off “shooting month” as the theme for programming for BCWBS in October.
